Which show has the Best Dressed star cast ?

Gossip Girl’s cast is at the head of the class when it comes to being fashionable. The cast took top honors in Yahoo’s TV poll for “Best Dressed” with 22% of the vote.

Their trendy shoes flattened the competition besting Desperate Housewives, Dancing with the Stars and Ugly Betty.

It comes as no surprise then that
it is also the most downloaded TV program on Apple’s iTunes and the most watched show in streaming on Yahoo.

What's on Cafe tonight?

High schooler Justin Tolchuk (Dan Byrd) is a sensitive, lanky 16-year-old just trying to fit in (with his mother's help) at his high school in Medora, Wisconsin.

His well-meaning mom Franny (Amy Pietz) who just wants him to be "cool" and fit in.

Franny signs up for the school's foreign exchange program and predicatably pictures an athletic, brilliant Nordic teen who will bestow instant coolness on her outsider son. And, what she gets is Raja Musharaff (Adhir Kalyan), a 16-year-old Pakistani.

All in all, it's going to be a very interesting year for Justin, Raja, the family, and the entire community of Medora as some rather ugly elements start to surface.

Aliens in America series premieres tonight in India and is scheduled for Thursday nights at 9:30 on Zee Cafe. If it’s comedy you’re looking for, this entertaining story of a shy high school kid thrust into a amusing situation is a must watch for you.

Some more interesting info: The theme music for series is created by popular band Junoon. Click below to catch the music video that's already a huge hit on YouTube.

Christmas Spice!

We loathed them. We criticized them. But secretly we all loved them.

Put together whacky fashion, girl power, 5 gorgeous women (with great voices by the way) and we have The Spice Girls.

If you were growing up in the 90’s you have definitely heard their music. Every girl was trying to be them and every guy wanted them!

Reunited and looking really good, these girls are taking Girl Power to the next level!
With the release of their new music video, Headlines, they are all over the place. It’s rumored that another single is all set for release very soon. Let’s all keep a look out for that one. But a recent promo I saw says that we can watch a special episode of them on Zee Café or Zee Trendz. Now that’s something else to watch out for!

Jay Leno to return despite WGA strike

Here's some good news for The Tonight show with Jay Leno fans.

Late-night TV comedians Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien said on Monday they will resume taping their shows on January 2, and cross picket lines if necessary, after nearly two months off the air in support of striking film and television writers.

With no end in sight to Hollywood's worst labour crash in 20 years, the hosts of 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late night with Conan O'Brien" said they were returning for the sake of scores of co-workers idled by the strike.

Both will renew production without their writers, who presumably will still be on strike.

Blair speaks about New York

Here's some byte from Leighton Meester - popularly known as Blair on Zee Cafe's hit series 'Gossip Girl'.

"I wouldn't have it any other way. If it's up to me, we will always shoot in New York. I know that there's a lot of shows that don't, and that's cool, but this is such an important element to the show that you couldn't shoot it anywhere else. And the fact that we're not just on a lot; we're not in a studio the whole time. We're in the streets of Manhattan, which is where these kids really do hang out and go. It's obviously beautiful to look at, because New York is such an amazing city."

Journeyman: Miss it and you'll regret it..

Watched the premiere episode of Journeyman on Zee Cafe on Tuesday (11th Dec) and I must accept that this one of the bestshows I have seen in a long time.

The show, in short, follows the life of Dan (Kevin McKidd) who one day starts waking up in random places. Before he wakes up though, he has extremely vivid dreams about going back in time about 20 years. At first he believes these are just dreams but eventually realizes his dreams are real. And, as he disappears, everyone around him (his wife/brother/colleagues) begin to wonder if he is gotten addicted to some stuff or gone crazy.

So, the job at hand is not just solve the mysteries in the time zone he lands in but also to save his marriage :-)
Apart from a fantastic storyline, what's most impressive is the use of music. The end of the premiere episode has “One” by U2 playing while Dan is in one last desperate attempt to prove to his wife what’s actually happening digs up their backyard.

Our Rating for the show: 4.5/5

Cafe Gadget Watch

These days rumour mills churn faster than you can say "XOXO" thanks to the latest trendsetting tech, as witnessed weekly on Zee Cafe's 'Gossip Girl'. The show's vixen Blair (Leighton Meester) explains how these toys make their silver-spoon world go round, while we give our device advice.

"So much of the characters' social lives rely on people talking about them and how fast the information files"says the startlet. Our Pick T-Mobile's Sidekick LX comes with a MySpace mobile application-all the better for tracking your crush.

So, apparently the characters on Gossip Girl would feel like they dint have air or water if they dint have technology. Well then, keep visiting this space for more gadgets that keeps the scandals roaming!

Coming: Back To You

There's another great comedy hitting Zee Cafe soon. Back to You is an American situation comedy series created and executive produced by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan.

The series is directed by James Burrows
Chuck Darling (Grammer) and Kelly Carr (Heaton) were co-anchors of a Pittsburgh news program that had great on-screen chemistry, despite constant quarreling off-screen.

However, Chuck left to take a job elsewhere. After an embarrassing comment he made resulting in his firing from a large market LA newscast, Chuck has returned to Pittsburgh after 10 years to become anchor on the newscast he originally left. Chuck also learns that he is the father of Carr's 10-year-old daughter. Their daughter, Gracie, is now 11-years-old as of the episode, "Something's Up There".
A review by the LA Times says "Back to You is back to TV comedy basics: multiple cameras, live audiences but, mostly, laughs. — Los Angeles Times."
