Watched the premiere episode of Journeyman on Zee Cafe on Tuesday (11th Dec) and I must accept that this one of the bestshows I have seen in a long time. The show, in short, follows the life of Dan (Kevin McKidd) who one day starts waking up in random places. Before he wakes up though, he has extremely vivid dreams about going back in time about 20 years. At first he believes these are just dreams but eventually realizes his dreams are real. And, as he disappears, everyone around him (his wife/brother/colleagues) begin to wonder if he is gotten addicted to some stuff or gone crazy.
So, the job at hand is not just solve the mysteries in the time zone he lands in but also to save his marriage :-) Apart from a fantastic storyline, what's most impressive is the use of music. The end of the premiere episode has “One” by U2 playing while Dan is in one last desperate attempt to prove to his wife what’s actually happening digs up their backyard.
