Building on the overwhelming success of the clothing line, TOUCH by Alyssa Milano, the brand will now enter into partnership with Aminco USA and Major League Baseball to launch a line of Fan Fashion Jewelry.
TOUCH by Alyssa Milano’s Fashion Jewelry line is set to launch at the upcoming MAGIC show in Las Vegas, from August 27-30, 2007 and will be available for retail sales in the Spring of 2008. The line is set to include bracelets, necklaces/pendants, earrings and hair accessories.
Milano launched TOUCH by Alyssa Milano in partnership with G-III Apparel Group and Major League Baseball this past spring to overwhelming success. “It was only natural that the line should grow to include a line of jewelry for women who are baseball fans and are looking for a fashionable way to accessorize at the games, as well as outside the ballpark,” said Ms. Milano.
Milano has spent almost her entire life in the public eye. She has a history of starring in long running successful television series. She began her television career on ABC’s “Who’s the Boss” which aired for eight years (Now showing on Zee CafĂ©, Tuesdays 6.30pm & 11.30pm) and most recently she starred on the hit WB series “Charmed” for eight years, the longest running show in the history of TV with female leads. She also starred on the Fox cornerstone series “Melrose Place”.
For many years, Milano has been a strong presence on the internet. Her company, CelebrityLoop.com is one of the premiere celebrity networks, housing websites for many top performers as well as Alyssa’s own, http://www.alyssa.com/. Alyssa’s baseball blog at http://www.alyssa.mlbblogs.com/ includes her thoughts on the game as well as insightful analysis of the sport she loves. It is also one of MLB’s most successful blogs.
In 2003, Alyssa was invited by UNICEF to become a National Ambassador. Since that time, she has traveled with the organization to Angola, Africa (May 2004) to see first hand the issues plaguing the newly liberated country and India (June 2005).
Alyssa has also been named the founding ambassador for The Global Network for Neglected Tropical Disease Control (GNNTDC), an alliance of international partnerships based at the Sabin Vaccine Institute in Washington D.C. and formalized by the Clinton Global Initiative to lead the global effort to treat, control and eliminate neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in the world’s poorest countries. In this role, Milano will work to raise awareness of GNNTDC and NTDs among the mainstream media and with the general public.
